About Me
I grew up in New Hampshire and got my start in music taking piano lessons with Noelle Beaudin when I was seven years old. I first started playing saxophone in 6th grade in the Holderness Central School band. After I graduated, I went to Plymouth Regional High School and played in the Concert Band and sang in the Choir. I only realized how important music was to me when I went to the Lake Winni Music Camp, run by Noelle, and was surrounded by the passionate and kind musicians who taught at and attended the camp. This was where I first got the opportunity to play jazz music, which changed everything for me. I then joined the PRHS Jazz Ensemble and took private improvisation lessons from Tom Robinson. I very quickly realized I wanted to pursue music in college and went on to get my B.A. in Music from Skidmore College, specializing in Jazz, after studying with John Nazarenko. Now, it’s my turn to give back and share the excitement that I have about music with everyone I can!
